Jeremy Woodson, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist who’s passionate about bringing men, women, and children in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the most cutting-edge, evidence-based treatments and preventive care available. He works with elite athletes and teams, school athletes, weekend warriors, and everyday people who want to be pain-free and healthy. Dr. Woodson specializes in advanced arthroscopic and robotic surgical techniques, including joint repair, and he was one of the first local surgeons to offer state-of-the-art platelet-rich-plasma (PRP) and stem-cell therapies.
Dr. Woodson was inspired to become a physician by his grandfather, a cardiologist who introduced him to medicine. After earning his bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma, Dr. Woodson received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Woodson completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City and went on to an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. In Texas, he was honored to work with world-renowned sports teams, including the Houston Astros.
At Dr. Woodson’s practice, his goal is to keep his athletes and patients pain-free and functioning at their peak through custom-designed treatments, such as sports medicine, reconstructive surgery, and regenerative medicine. He and his highly trained team are dedicated to making each patient feel welcome, listened to, and understood. He enjoys helping athletes at all levels reach their peak performance, so they can be competitive while staying safe.
In practice for more than nine years, Dr. Woodson is also affiliated with McBride Clinic Orthopedic Hospital in Oklahoma City. He’s certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a proud member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.
